A conference for friends of Minnesota's natural resources
The conference offers keynote speakers including Al Batt, Don Kroodsma, and Sparky Stensaas, concurrent sessions, field trips, hands-on workshops, outdoor activities, and social opportunities. This year's conference features a collaboration with the Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds.
Events include:
- Friday morning field trips (Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge and Wannigan Park/Ike Fisher Farm).
- Friday evening dinner and plenary speaker Al Batt at Fair Hills Resort.
- Saturday morning field trips (Rothsay Complex/Warblers & Wildflowers at Smoky Hills State Park/Lof Woods).
- Saturday evening dinner and keynote speaker, Donald Kroodsma (at MState).
The Gathering Partners Conference is hosted by the University of Minnesota and presented annually by the University of Minnesota Extension's Minnesota Master Naturalist and AIS Detectors programs with support from the Bell Museum.
